The Mayor of Buuhoodle Municipality, Hon. Abdifataah Ali Awil, today officially opened a specialized training program for the Buuhoodle Municipal Firefighting Unit in the city of Las Anod.
The training is aimed at strengthening the capacity, preparedness, and operational skills of the municipal firefighters so they can effectively respond to fire emergencies and protect the lives and property of residents.
The training program was supported by the Mayor of Las Anod Municipality, Hon. Abdirahman Ali Ismail, whose assistance contributed to the successful organization and delivery of the program.
The firefighters participating in the training are expected to fill an important operational gap within Buuhoodle Municipality’s firefighting service. Their training will enhance the municipality’s ability to effectively utilize its firefighting vehicle and respond more efficiently to emergencies requiring fire and rescue services.
The initiative represents an important step toward strengthening public safety, emergency preparedness, and municipal services, while improving the capacity of Buuhoodle Municipality to respond to fire-related incidents and protect the community.
