The Office of the Mayor of Buuhoodle Municipality has officially appointed Mr. Mohamed Abdi Ali (Caska) as the Director of Media & Community Relations at Buuhoodle Local Government.
The appointment, issued under Ref: BLG/OM/034/2026, is part of the municipality’s efforts to strengthen its public communication, media relations, community engagement, and the dissemination of official information to the public.
In his new role, Mr. Mohamed Abdi Ali will oversee and coordinate the municipality’s media and public communication activities, including the preparation and dissemination of official news, announcements, public information, and updates on municipal programs and services.
The Director will also work closely with the Office of the Mayor, municipal departments, media organizations, and the wider community to promote effective communication, transparency, and public awareness.
Mr. Mohamed Abdi Ali brings experience from both the government and media sectors. His previous professional roles include serving as an advisor within the Media Office of the Presidency of the SSC-Khaatumo Administration during its transitional period, representing SomNews in Las Anod, and serving as Regional Director of Radio Daljir for Cayn Region.
